In the dynamic village of Saint-Camille, community leaders met for an event on health and art.
The dream of bringing together their expertise to contribute to healthy aging was thus born.
The idea of using art to foster the well-being of seniors grew and inspired others. Soon thereafter, new contributors rallied behind the initiative in their concern about social isolation.
The project was reinforced by recent research results, and significant government funding was procured: Culture for Seniors thus became a reality.
